Scallop Festival '09

The Scallop Festival is coming up at the end of August - and it is definitely worth a visit. Great food, entertainment, celebrities - a fantastic way to jolt yourself out of winter and remind yourself why the Coromandel is such a great destination. We are "over the hill" (one plus hour if you travel via Coromandel) or "through the bush" ( just under an hour if you travel via the Tapu-Coroglen Road) from Whitianga, but still close enough to make staying at Te Mata Lodge an option. All our cottages and chalets are $100/night per couple through winter.
